PORTUGAL
Portugal is the westernmost country in the European Continent and the oldest to have the frontiers defined, since the XIIIth Century.
Inhabited by more than 10.500.000 citizens, it’s two main city’s are Lisbon, the Capital (2.300.000 inhabitants) and Porto (more than 1.300.000 inhabitants) making almost half the population of the country.
The climate is average, with soft winters and hot summers, very pleasant and attractive by the proximity of the country to the Atlantic Ocean. This proximity is also one its most important features when it comes to touristic advantages because it provides the country with unique conditions for several activity’s.
One of the main characteristics of this beautiful country is the diversity of experiences, cultures, landscapes and lifestyles you can find in such a small territory.

ACESSES AND CONNECTIONS
Served by three main airports and by all the major airlines:
1 - Lisbon “Humberto Delgado” for the center region;
2 - Porto “Francisco de Sá Carneiro” in the north;
3 - Faro airport in the south.
This allows the connection to the main city’s in Europe and to the South and Northeast America.
Plus, the modern and confortable highway system allows to travel along the country in few hours accessing the most beautiful natural parks and monuments, or visiting the most characteristic sites in the territory.
Portugal has also in Lisbon and Porto two important cruise terminals with capacity for the all the big cruises of the world.
