We start with Fátima, one of the most important Marian altars in the world in the last century. Here you will have some time to see the shrine, the chapel of the apparitions and the basilicas that support the pilgrimage every year.

After Fatima we will visit the gothic monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória in Batalha, a UNESCO world heritage site and living testimony of the origin of Portuguese nationality. One of the most important and influent medieval constructions in Portugal.

Then we head to Alcobaça, where we will visit the church of another gothic monastery and where you will be able to admire the beauty and detail of the gothic sculpture in the tombs of D. Pedro and D. Inês, protagonists of an exciting episode of the Portuguese history.

​

 In Nazaré, we will be able to look at the Atlantic Ocean from one of the most celebrated viewpoints of the central part of the country. We can also visit the historic shrine of our Lady of Nazaré.

 

By the end of the day we will be in Óbidos, a picturesque village surrounded by medieval walls, settled on a sloping hill and full of corners and details to wonder the visitors.
